PARENT/CHILD OPTIS

CHILD AGE: 4-6
SCHEDULE: Monday and Thursday, 6 pm-8 pm
DURATION: Two Weeks

Parents, this is your chance to learn to sail with your child, aged 4-6. This class allows parents and children to experience sailing together for the first time. No prior knowledge is required of parents as they learn to sail with their child in Optimist sailboats. An MSC instructor guides students as they learn basic sailing skills and gain confidence on the water. Students are not guaranteed to be on the water each day. If the wind is too strong, there’s fun learning onshore with games, stories, songs, and more!

The fee covers both parent and child. Only the child needs to be registered.

Note: The OPTIMIST PRAM sailboat is a small boat that requires bending down/crouching, stepping in and out, and getting your feet wet.
